Service Day

So every summer we do a day of service in the community that we live in. It's called Vivint gives back. This year we went to the Orange County food bank to assemble boxes for older people who are in need of food.

With hard work from the whole group we were able to assemble 622 boxes!

Knowing that we helped many people in need with just a few hours of our time is very rewarding! Serving others is so important & humbling. I'm so glad we were able to participate in such a good thing! 

VENICE

Viv and I decided to meet up in Venice to hangout for the day! It was really fun, we always see the craziest people and things there.

Sometimes it's a little scary because the people can be really wacky, but it's also funny seeing the things people come up with to make money and what cleaver things they write on their cardboard piece... we saw a few that said "I just like holding cardboard" & "too ugly to model"

We rented bikes and just biked all along the beach, it was a beautiful day (like always) so we loved it!

We got some hena tattoo's just for fun! The guys doing them were a little desperate for 5 bucks so we caved and gave them our business.

As of Late

It feels like it's been longer than 2 months, but at the same time it feels like we got married yesterday! I'm sure if your a newlywed you can relate! 

As some of you know we live 2 miles away from Disneyland...in other words..we live really close to heaven :) 

It seriously is the greatest place, disney music constantly playing, princesses are real there and you can pretend to be one and it's not weird, you can burst out in song anytime you want, the air smells like churros and ice cream, there are both rides and roller coasters, fireworks, and fantasmic (need I say more)!  

And to answer your question: YES, I'm proud to be that person that singing along with all the songs on every ride. My husband even sings with me, he's that awesome.

Love me some Splash, the cute girl in front of me kept turning around to tell me she wasn't scared and to show me her butterfly painted face, precious little thing!

Party of 2 Disneyland tip-if the line is outrageously long, go in the single rider line. You'll wait no longer than 15 minutes and will most likely be really close to each other. We did this on the cars ride at CA adventure and waited for 15 minutes when the actual wait time was 120 minutes. That's how it's done people! 

But even that 15 minutes is still a little long for these attention spans

BEACH DAYS

Matt and I first hungout in Virginia Beach and our first kiss was in the ocean. So for that reason and the fact that I grew up going to the beach all the time, I love it. Everything about it. The salty water, diving under a perfect swell, sandy feet after coming out of the water, the smell of sunscreen and tanning oil, extra crunchy chips, and of course the sunshine!

Stacey came down to Huntington for the day to hang out last week! It was so fun, I love her!! We have been friends since Kindergarden, and will be friends for life! We love being so close to family and friends!
